Joint ISCO Statement on Procurement Practices in the Cocoa Sector

On the occasion of the World Cocoa Conference, we are happy to announce a joint ISCO statement confirming our commitment towards accelerating progress in closing the living income gap in cocoa.

 To achieve this, we emphasize the importance of a “smart-mix” - with procurement practices as a key element of living income agendas, for which the ISCOs will work together on a set of unified principles provided to our members.

We also agreed to continue to collaborate in the monitoring and reporting on the ISCO objectives, and explore how we can further strengthen the accountability of all members.
