Individual roadmaps of our members
At the 2022 General Meeting, representatives from civil society, industry, trade and the German government agreed to draw up individual commitments, known as roadmaps, on the priority topics of traceability, certification, deforestation/agroforestry and child labour. The roadmaps consist of the commitments and important milestones for achieving these commitments.
The roadmaps for traceability and certification were submitted by the members of the industry and trade group by the end of 2022. The roadmaps on deforestation and child labour were then completed by the end of 2023. The civil society member group and some members of the industry group had already submitted their roadmaps on all priority topics in 2022 and did not have to submit any new roadmaps in 2023.
By the end of 2024, members of the German Initiative on Sustainable Cocoa have submitted their roadmaps on the topic of living income and at the same time reported on the progress made on the submitted commitments.
