COVID-19: PRO-PLANTEURS supports cocoa cooperatives and households with sanitization materials

During the last two months, PRO-PLANTEURS has distributed handwashing kits and face masks to the 35 cooperatives participating in the project as well as the 15 income generating women’s groups, as a contribution to their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Beneficiaries were also sensitized on the risks of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as on the implementation of measures to fight against the spread of the pandemic.

Sonia Lehmann übernimmt Projektleitung PRO-PLANTEURS

Seit Mitte September ist Sonia Lehmann als neue Projektleiterin von PRO-PLANTEURS nun auch direkt von vor Ort aktiv. Nach über drei Jahren engagierter und erfolgreicher Tätigkeit für das Projekt
PRO-PLANTEURS hat Judith Steffens sich aus dem Projekt verabschiedet. Mit Sonia Lehmann tritt eine erfahrene Kollegin die Nachfolge an. Frau Lehmann war zuvor rund fünf Jahre in der Geschäftsstelle des Forum Nachhaltiger Kakao zuständig für den Bereich Projekte, Partnerschaften, Monitoring. Sonia Lehmann verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung im Kakaosektor und in der Projektarbeit, insbesondere im südamerikanischen Raum.
