Together with the Côte d'Ivoire National Nutrition Programme (PNN) and the PROCACAO project financed by Lidl, PRO-PLANTEURS has trained 41 women from the cooperatives newly selected in 2018 to become Animatrices Rurales (agricultural advisors). The women received training in improved nutrition and will soon be implementing what they have learned in their cooperatives.

Together with the already trained Animatrices Rurales from the cooperatives that joined in 2016, the project reaches over 20,000 households.

At the end, on 03 December 2019, the women were formally presented with their certificates of participation. The regional director of the Conseil du Café-Cacao (CCC) and the project manager of PRO-PLANTEURS, Judith Steffens, took part in the presentation of the diplomas.
