Submit now: Project proposals for Matching Fund - Deadline July 15

The matching fund financially supports activities contributing the objectives of the Project and of GISCO. Project proposals can be submitted till July 15 by sending in a concept note (GISCO members only).

PRO-PLANTEURS, the joint project of GISCO, the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Conseil du Café-Cacao (CCC), has started its second implementation phase on June 1st 2020. Within the next five years, PRO-PLANTEURS has foreseen to reach a total of 30,000 cocoa farming families, improving their incomes and professionalizing the organizations they belong to. For this new implementation phase, PRO-PLANTEURS has developed a matching fund, that will allow a closer collaboration with GISCO members.

The matching fund is an instrument of the project to financially support activities contributing the projects and GISCOs objectives. The operating guidelines provide detailed information on the concept, the selection criteria and process as well as on the implementation of the projects co-financed by PRO-PLANTEURS´ matching fund.  

First step is the submission of a concept note of the proposed project. The submission of concept notes is open until July 15.

The process of project selection and preparation will follow 5 steps, which include different deadlines. By the End of January 2021 the contracts for implementation will be signed and projects ready to start.
