Professionalization of cooperatives

In November 2018, PRO-PLANTEURS will start new training courses to professionalize the cooperatives it works with. ANADER will train 3,000 women in agricultural diversification. The aim of the training is to increase the income of 10,000 households.
In a further training course, conducted by ANADER and TechnoServe, 12,000 producers of the 17 cooperatives which were newly admitted at the beginning of 2018  will be trained in Farmer Business Schools (FBS). The professionalisation of the cooperatives includes more intensive coaching in order to achieve a better application of the training contents, as well as knowledge about better access to financing.
A third training course will be conducted by LEVEIL consulting. The company is training 250 young cooperative members, including 50 women, on the services identified with the help of a study. The training courses run over a period of 12 months.
