PRO -PLANTEURS welcomes 12 new organisations
On 24 March, PRO-PLANTEURS held a kick-off workshop to welcome 12 farmer organisations from the Divo and Yamoussoukro regions, and with them some 13,000 farmers, to the project. In addition to the farmer organisations, the Ivorian cocoa agency Conseil du Café-Cacao (CCC) and the Ivorian Ministry of Agriculture also participated in the event. As a highlight of the day, three farmer organisations that have been working with PRO-PLANTUERS since 2016 presented their experiences and their progression towards a professional management. The new farmer organisations will also complete a training programme with PRO-PLANTEURS by 2025. For this purpose, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the event.
