PRO-PLANTEURS: BMEL testifies very high relevance and strong impact

The relevance of the PRO-PLANTEURS project is rated as very high, the effectiveness, efficiency and also the project-related impacts are rated as high. The sustainability of the impacts is rated as good, however, there is still room for improvement. For the second project phase (6/2020 - 5/2025) it is recommended to implement the majority of the projects planned under the Matching Fund with cooperatives which are supported by PRO-PLANTEURS.

The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) is one of the project partners of PRO-PLANTEURS. At the beginning of 2020, another progress review took place on behalf of the BMEL. The focus was on the project progress since April 2018 in the qualification of specialized service providers and activities for a more balanced nutrition. The evaluation confirms that the project has a very high relevance and high impact. Due to the comprehensive approach and the relatively large target group, the project objective of PRO-PLANTEURS is considered ambitious but feasible.
