Executive Director of GISCO, Beate Weiskopf, elected as new chairman of the ICCO Consultative Board

The International Cocoa Organization (ICCO) places its Consultative Board under German chairmanship. The International Cocoa Council elected Beate Weiskopf, Executive Director of the German Initiative on Sustainable Cocoa, as the new chairman.

The election of Ms. Weiskopf is welcomed by many board members. She previously held the position of Vice Chairman. The declared goal for the two-year term of office, which is now beginning, is "to contribute to establishing the Consultative Board as an efficient advisory body for the International Cocoa Council," states Beate Weiskopf.
